Harry J. Liddle 1955-2025

SOUTHINGTON — Harry James Liddle, 69, passed away peacefully into eternal rest, Friday morning, Jan. 10, 2025, at Oasis Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Youngstown.

He was born May 18, 1955, in Warren, the son of the late Richard E. Liddle Sr. and Lois M. Frederick Liddle.

Harry lived most of his life in Southington, graduating from Chalker High School in the Class of 1974. He proudly boasted that his Friday night drinking team, “FNDT,” made it into the class yearbook for that year.

Harry worked as a shipper / loader for Pentair, formerly Structural Fibers, for 36 years, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed playing cards, bingo, old cars, gambling at Mountaineer Casino, playing his favorite game — craps, going to car shows, and watching the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. Harry also enjoyed going to auctions, flea markets and garage sales, and always found something for someone.

Harry had a very big heart and recently gave his heart to Jesus, so he is in heaven with his parents and his older sister, Vickie Dietrich, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by one sister, Dixie Buick of Cape Coral, Florida; four brothers, Richard (Robin) Liddle of Southington, Thomas (Bonnie) Liddle of Cookport, Pa., Craig Liddle of Leavittsburg and Mark (Deardra) Liddle of Salisbury, North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025, at the James Funeral Home, Newton Falls, with Pastor Paul Price officiating. Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at the funeral home.

He will be laid to rest with his parents in Hawley Cemetery in Paris Township.
