Beverly M. Lee 1945-2024

YOUNGSTOWN -- Beverly M. Lee, 79, passed away peacefully into eternal rest, Monday, Sept. 9, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 31, 1945, in Warren, the daughter of the late Maurice Glenn Robinson and Vera Jean Perks Robinson.

Beverly married the love of her life, Thomas Richard Lee, on Oct. 1, 1966; they enjoyed 32 years of marriage together until his death on May 17, 1998. They had lived and raised their children in the Warren area most of their lives.

Beverly worked at Nickles Bakery for over 10 years, and was a member of Warren Baptist Temple for many years. She enjoyed going to the local county fairs, fishing, reading and going to auctions. She especially enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

Memories of Beverly will be carried on by her loving family: her four daughters, Deborah (Marcia Gmucs) Lee of Franklin, Kelly (Donald) Spencer of Warren, Mary (Jim) Johnson of Hamilton and Diana (Gary) Lee-Humphrey of Garrettsville; two sons, Charles Lee of Youngstown and Richard Lee of Middlefield; two sisters, Joyce (Joseph) Malagisi of Canfield and Judy Culp of Warren; five grandchildren, Maurice Brett, Shedall Brown-Lee, Michael Smithberger, Bradley (Jill) Smithberger and Heather (Dakota) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; and her sisters, Debra Sudon and Conet Hawes.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls, with Pastor James Dittmar officiating. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Beverly will be laid to rest beside her husband, Thomas, in Sager Memorial Cemetery in Bristolville.
