Thomas A. Pawcio 1955-2024

WARREN -- Thomas Andrew Pawcio, 68, passed away Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center, following an aneurysm. During his final hours, he was surrounded by his family.

Thomas was born Nov. 19, 1955, to the late Miller and Margaret Bednarik Pawcio.

He was a 1974 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.

Every morning, he started his day by sharing cookies and watching Westerns with his best friend, Griff. You could find Tom watching Fox News at home in his recliner or at the club on his favorite bar stool with Griff, complaining about the Democrats. Tom looked forward to his family's yearly tradition of cooking turkeys on the spit at the club, while sharing a beer with his best friends.

Tom was part owner of Sons of Italy 2798 and a past Grand Knight of K of C 4484.

Tom leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Carol Long Pawcio; daughter, April (Ronnie) Wynn; son, Michael (Nikki) Pawcio; his favorite girls, Abbie and Gabbie; Christina Bishop, Keith, Richie and Zach Rounds; brother, Mike (Debbie) Pawcio, Greg (Caitlin) Spirko and Ron (Laura) Spirko; and many nieces and nephews.

Tom married into a large family whom he deeply loved and had many good times with.

To all his friends at the club, know that he loved you all and appreciated your friendship.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Patty Hutt and Linda Thomas.

As per Tom's wishes, there will be no calling hours.

A party will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at Sons of Italy 2798, 2660 Mahoning Ave., Warren; drinks are on Tom.

The family would like to thank everyone for their hugs and prayers.
