HOWLAND -- Richard E. Cecconi Jr., 65, entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Continuing Health Care in Niles. He was born Dec. 21, 1958, in Warren, the son of Richard E. Sr. and Rose Marie Sabo Cecconi.
Richard graduated from Warren Western Reserve High School and TCTC with a business degree. He ran the cooling department at WCI Steel. He was an accomplished artist and worked part-time for Disney as an artist. He enjoyed music -- especially the Eagles -- yardwork, sports, Jeep automobiles, snowmobiling and was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and a former baseball coach.
Precious memories of Richard live on with his two children, Richard E. Cecconi III (Jessica) and Terra Cvengros (Michael), both of Marysville; two grandchildren, Madison and Kinsley Cvengros; his sister, Michele Flaminio of Howland; one nephew, Alan Flaminio; one niece, Alexis Flaminio; his aunt, Betty Fluharty; his four-legged BFF, Moose; and his two granddogs, Zito and Luna.
His parents and a nephew, Don Flaminio Jr., preceded him in death.
Calling hours are 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2024, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where services will begin at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in All Souls Cemetery.
