WARREN -- Carol A. Daniels, 83, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital. She was born Jan. 2, 1941, in Niles, a daughter of the late James H. Stapleton and the late Sarah O. Robison.
She was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was employed as a secretary at USWA Local #1375 for 12 years.
Carol made custom draperies out of her home, and loved crafting and going camping with friends.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, William "Bill" E. Phillips of North Augusta, South Carolina; daughter, Vicki Phillips of Transfer, Pa.; son, Mark Phillips of Beaver Valley, Pa.; stepdaughter, Cheryl "Cheri" (Mike) Cameron of Taylorsville, North Carolina; stepdaughter, Michelle "Shelly" Bullock of Gastonia, North Carolina; stepdaughter, Julie Daniels of Gastonia, North Carolina; grandchildren, Lindsay, Brittany and Kyle "Gus"; stepgrandchildren, Haley (Julian), Kaitlyn, Jamie, Kyle, Brandon and Ryan; longtime caregivers that became more like family, Angie Goldner and Michale Ireland; and pen pal and great-great-niece, Reese Fellenger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 25 years, Ralph W. Daniels; a brother, Bill; and sister, Joanne.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2024, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Garry Hennessey will officiate. Friends may call 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will take place privately in Champion Township Cemetery.
