PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. -- Cherryl A. Lenhart, 79, formerly of Southington, died Saturday, May 18, 2024.
She was born July 17, 1944, in Lordstown, a daughter of the late Hugh Junior Slee and the late Rutheda Katherine Quilligan Slee Kelley.
She was a graduate of Champion High School, also attended Kent State University and was employed as a respiratory therapist at Apria Healthcare.
Cherryl had a big laugh and a big heart. She took pride in helping her patients heal and she loved her family and friends fiercely. She enjoyed collecting all sorts of things for her family members and for herself. While her family and friends have missed having her in Ohio for the past two decades, we are glad that she enjoyed spending her retirement years on a beautiful property in sunny Arizona where she made memories with special friends and neighbors.
She is survived by brothers, Chuck (Karen) Kelley of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and Rick (Kim) Kelley of Champion; nieces, Becky Watson, Chelsea Mealy, Chandra Kelley, Peggy Miller and Pennie Severt; and nephew, Chauncey Kelley; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Raymond Kelley; and brother, Leonard Kelley.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024, at The River Church, 4257 Tod Ave. NW, where Pastor Rob Bateman will officiate.
Friends and family may gather from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the church.
She will be laid to rest privately in Pineview Memorial Park.
Carl W. Hall Funeral Home is honored to assist with these arrangements.
