NILES -- Cheri L. Fike, 68, passed away on Wednesday morning, May 8, 2024, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital following a short illness.
She was born Dec. 29, 1955 in Connellsville, Pa., the daughter of Kenneth and Patricia Ruby Savage. Cheri was a 1974 graduate of Howland High School and attended St. Stephen Church.
She worked for many years in the fine china department at Macy's Distribution Center. Over the years, Cheri maintained a very close relationship and cherished spending time with her extended family, and her many friends.
She enjoyed traveling, especially taking vacations to the beach and gambling at the casinos.
Cheri is survived by her husband of 48 years Ronald W. Fike, whom she married on Sept. 6, 1975; daughter, Nicole R. Fike; son, Ronald C. Fike; and her dog Otis, all of Niles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and several sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lawrence Savage.
A celebration of her life will be announced by the family.
