LEAVITTSBURG -- Charles O. Jarvis, 65, passed away into eternal life on Friday, May 24, 2024, at his residence.
Joel and Ethelee Jarvis were blessed with their son, Charles, on Aug. 29, 1958.
Charles was a proud member of the U.S. Army for more than 13 years. He enjoyed traveling to West Virginia and working on cars.
Memories of Charles will be carried on by his loving family, who include his wife of 44 years, Cindy Jarvis of Leavittsburg; his son, Josh Jarvis, also of Leavittsburg; and his sisters, Vicky Greathouse of Annmoriah, W.Va., and Rozanna Ferry of Leavittsburg.
Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Lindsy Jarvis; his father, Joel Jarvis I; and his two brothers, Joel "Nick" Jarvis and Damon Jarvis.
Calling hours will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. A celebration of life will be held immediately following calling hours at noon Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Cunningham officiating. Military honors will be immediately following the service.
Charles will be laid to rest at a later date in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
