DAWSON, Pa.-- Ronald L. Baird Jr., 61, died Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in Independence Health System-Westmoreland Hospital.
Ronald was born Feb. 13, 1963, in Youngstown, to Patricia Burkhart Baird and the late Ronald L. Baird Sr.
Ronald was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, Class of 1981. He was a member of the NRA and the Trumbull Moose Lodge 186. Ronnie worked as an assistant manager at Monro Muffler, for more than 30 years and as a service technician at Kenny Ross Automotive Group, for five years. Ronnie's true passion was working on cars. He would often lend a hand fixing his family and friends' cars, whenever they needed. Ronnie also enjoyed playing Santa Claus at Christmas, for all of his family and friends.
Ronnie is survived by his loving family, his daughter, Rachel Baird Alahmad; his mother, Patricia Burkhart Baird; his siblings, Brenda Gustovich (Jeffry) and Joe Baird (Christina); his nieces and nephew, Sarella Sekola (Sean), Natalie Gustovich, Joey Baird and Hannah Baird; and his two great-nieces. He is also survived by his aunts, Newanna Sue Gelotti and Brenda Baird; and numerous cousins, and friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Ronald L. Baird Sr., in 2020.
Family and friends will be received from 10:30 a.m., until the hour of his Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Mount Olive Evangelical Church, 363 Pleasant Valley Road, Connellsville, Pa. 15425, with the Rev. Lee Maley officiating.
