HOWLAND -- Ronald James Dubravcak, 64, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family, at Hospice House.
He was born Oct. 13, 1959, in Warren, the son of the late Norman S. and Maryann Krokosky Dubravcak.
Ron was a 1978 graduate of Champion High School and graduated with an associate degree from Kent State University. Ron married the former Susan E. Arch on May 24, 1986. He retired from Champion Disposal Company after 35 years of service.
He enjoyed walks with his dog, Meesha, milkshakes, game shows, the lottery and joking around, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandson, Ethan.
He was a member of St. William Catholic Church. He was a very generous man with a heart of gold.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Susan E. Dubravcak of Howland; daughter, Elizabeth A. (Christine) Strabala of Howland; mother, Maryann Dubravcak of Champion; sisters, Diana Simun of Howland, Sandy (Scott) Furbee of Champion and Shirley Sowinski of Southington; brother, David Dubravcak of Warren; grandson, Ethan J. Strabala; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Brett Simun.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at St. William Catholic Church.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
