WARREN -- Kay C. Zion, age 83, of Warren, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Community Skilled Health Care Centre, after a 20-year-battle with advanced Alzheimer's disease.
She was born July 27, 1940, in Dixonville, Pa., the daughter of the late William Charles and Naomi Huffman Silvis.
Kay was a chiropractic assistant. She enjoyed many things such as sewing, ironing and making the best fudge. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her only loving daughter, Diana (Don) James; her two grandchildren, Jonathan (Gaia Gilbaldi) James and Jaimee James; and one sister, Ruth (Vince) Melaragno.
Other than her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband, James Zion, on Dec. 4, 2016; they had been united in marriage on Aug. 1, 1958; and her siblings, Wayne, James and Bill Silvis and Shirley Egry.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the pastors at First Assembly of God Church and Community Skilled Nursing Home-Memory Care Unit for all their care, love and support.
