Deborah K. Miller 1958-2024

NILES — Deborah K. Miller, 65, passed away peacefully at 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Select Specialty Hospital at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.

Deborah was born Oct. 17, 1958, in Warren, the daughter of John W. and Ema Jewel Johnson Boggs Sr. and has lived in Trumbull County all her life.

Deborah was a 1977 Lordstown High School graduate and a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church. Deborah loved her family and enjoyed caring, cooking and baking for her family and sharing her specialties with others. She was especially a part of her children’s and grandchildren’s activities and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Gary Ronald Miller Sr., whom she married on Dec. 8, 1986; daughter, Michelle Johnson and Chip Rhoads of Bellevue; three sons, Gary R. Miller Jr. of Ellaville, Georgia, Joshua (Tiffany) Miller of Monticello, Georgia, and Justin (Brittany) Miller of Berlin Center; nine grandchildren, Alexis, Aleyah, Houston, Madison, Peyton, Abigail, Madelynne, Easton and Kaiden; great-grandson, Atlas; her dog, Roxy; sister, Carolyn Ward of Niles; two brothers, Alan R. (Anna) Boggs of Shelby, and Jamie (Susan) Boggs of Naperville, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John W. Boggs Jr., and David L. Boggs; and brother-in-law Bob Ward.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Douglas Brown officiating. A private burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
