KINSMAN -- Sarah Rose Starling, 58, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, in her home surrounded by loved ones, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.
Born Feb. 22, 1965, in Warren, she was a daughter of Roy A. and Ruth E. Watt Starling.
A 1983 graduate of Joseph Badger High School, Sarah was the pitcher for the girl's softball team during the State Championship in 1981 and 1982, and later earned her way into Joseph Badger High School's Hall of Fame.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Ruth E. Starling of Kinsman; sister, Linda S. Starling of Howland; special brother, Gerald Bennett; nieces and nephews, Jenni (Jeff) Balyeat, John (Sara) Starling, Katie Starling (Jesse Moy), and Mark Starling; niece, Amber (Jamison) Conley, as well as five great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy A. Starling, and her brother, Terry E. Starling.
Private services will be held.
