WARREN -- Edward Gathan "Dee Dee" "Redd" Freeman, 74, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center, following cardiac arrest.
He was born Nov. 23, 1949, in Warren, the son of Arbie Samuel and Annabelle Brogdon Freeman Sr.
He had retired from employment as an electrician at Republic Steel / LTV Steel and RG Steel Corporations.
Survivors include son, Daron Shelby Freeman of Warren; daughter, Denikia Natasha Freeman; one grandson of Springhill, Tennessee; and two granddaughters, one of Springhill, Tennessee, and one of Warren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; and two brothers.
Memorial services will be noon Saturday, at the SterlingMcCullough Williams Funeral Home, where masks are suggested.
