Lorna L. Patrick 1955-2023

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- Lorna Lyn Patrick, 68, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, at The Lantern at Morning Pointe, with her daughter by her side.

She was born March 21, 1955, in Warren, a daughter of the late Raymond Victor and the late Beverly Russell Victor. She was married to Robert Patrick on Jan. 20, 1983; he preceded her in death in February of this year.

She was a graduate of Howland High School, class of 1973, and then went to Los Angeles, California, to attend art school. After moving back from California, she started her career working as a graphic designer for Wean United and Taylor Winfield for numerous years. She also worked as a technology assistant at Howland High School before moving to Fort Myers, Florida, in 2003, after her husband's retirement. In Florida, she continued in the education field, working as a bookkeeper at the local college and elementary school in Fort Myers.

Lorna had a deep love for animals, especially cats. She was very artistic, enjoying painting, sewing and was always working on some craft in her spare time. She had an eye for interior design and enjoyed decorating for every holiday. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (fiance Alex Becnel) Patrick of Franklin, Tennessee; brother, Christopher (Pam) Victor of Troy, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Victor; mother, Beverly Russell Victor; husband, Robert Patrick; and sister, Jane Case.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Mike Alger will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will take place privately in Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield, Ohio.
