CHAMPION -- Steve Johnson, 79, formerly from Champion, died Saturday, June 17, 2023, in hospice in Florida.
Steve was a veteran of both the U.S. Air Force and the Canadian Coast Guard. He had degrees in philosophy, psychology and nursing, and was a lifelong student.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Madonna and Elbert Johnson; his sister, Linda Berkhouse; and brother, Gary.
They are missed by surviving brothers, Jeffrey and Roger, and other family and friends.
There are no services.
