WINDHAM -- Keo Mae Brobst, 93 years of age, of Windham, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023.
Born in Nelson Township, on Sept. 17, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Algie and Margaret Brannon Chalker.
A homemaker, she had been a lifetime Windham and Nelson Township resident, and a 1947 graduate of Nelson High School. While Keo enjoyed sewing, crocheting and playing the piano, she will be fondly remembered for her telephone times, calling the neighbors and the fact that she never met a stranger.
On May 14, 1954, she married Donald Brobst, who preceded her in death in 2008. Also preceding her was her sister, Rhea Lewis.
Survivors include her children, Fred Brobst, Debra Brobst and Janet Brobst, all of Windham; and her sister, Donna Barnett of Parkman.
Calling hours will be 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at the Green Family Funeral Home and Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail, at the corner of state Route 44, Mantua, where the funeral service will then begin at 2:30 p.m.; officiating will be Pastor Matthew Brobst.
Her final resting place will be in Harrington Cemetery, Nelson Township.
