WINDHAM -- Kathleen F. Brobst, 76, of Windham, went home to be with her Savior on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
Kathy was born Aug. 26, 1946, in Warren, the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Burr Case.
She was a Windham area resident since 1979, and a member of the Windham Bible Church. Her involvement included Children's Ministries such as Pioneer Club, WBC Kids, children's church and Child Evangelism Fellowship, CEF.
Kathy was a graduate of Leavittsburg High School in 1964, following which she graduated from Malone College in 1968, with a bachelor of science degree in biology. She then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her master's degree in botany in 1971.
On June 26, 1971, she married her beloved husband, Daniel D. Brobst, who survives at home.
Kathy was employed at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, as a medical technologist. Her life then became one of a homemaker, raising her children and being a devoted wife. She and Dan enjoyed traveling, including visiting National Parks and spending time outdoors in nature.
In addition to her beloved husband, her loving children, Matthew (Leslie) Brobst of Braceville and Rachel (John) Hancock of Damascus; cherished grandchildren, Emily, Jaiden, Evan, Josiah, Daniel, Eliana and Gideon; and her brother, Richard (Rita) Case, of Warren, all survive.
Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023, and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, at Windham Bible Church, where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., with Pastor Bob Harner and Pastor Matthew Brobst, officiating.
A graveside memorial service will follow in Harrington Cemetery, Nelson Township.
