FOWLER -- Carol Lee Cramer Shelton of Fowler passed from this life on Sunday, May 14, 2023, following an extended illness. She was 71.
Carol was born on May 21, 1951, in Youngstown, a daughter of Robert D. and Jean Ferguson Cramer.
She was a 1969 graduate of Lakeview High School. A proud homemaker for her family, she also held various jobs outside the home.
She is survived by her mother, Jean of Vienna; husband, Randy L. Shelton, whom she married April 12, 1969; children, Shawn Shelton (Kerry) of Cincinnati and Shannon C. Shelton (John Hill) of North Fort Myers, Fla.; grandchildren, Jack, Grace, Noah and Luke Shelton and Emily and Ethan Adkins; sisters, Kathy Helmick of Largo, Fla., and Roberta Shields (Dave) of Vienna; nieces, Alicia Cramer, and Kathryn Shields; and nephews, Nate Cramer, Jamie Helmick (Donna) and Reed Shields (Julie).
Preceding her in death were her father and a brother, Ronald D. Cramer.
Per her wishes, a private service will be held at a later date.
As suggested by her family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
