CORTLAND -- Judith "Judy" Mohan, 74, of Cortland, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, after a brief illness. She peacefully went to her eternal resting place surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Oct. 26, 1948, in Salem, the daughter of Russell M. Hall and Nora M. Parr Hall.
Judy graduated from Newton Falls High School in 1966. She was a cherished wife, mother and grandmother. Judy was also a dedicated homemaker and previously worked as a part-time pharmacy technician.
Judy married the love of her life, Terrence Mohan, on April 1, 1967. Terrence passed away in August of 2002 and for over 20 years, Judy continued to nurture her friends and family, all while missing her "Terry." She also traveled, made friends at the local casino and spent time with her rescue dog, Harley.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori Borden (Steve) of Virginia Beach, Va. and son, Michael Mohan (Amelia) of Ravenna; grandchildren, Tyler, Tara, Taylor, Brendan, Jack and Victoria; and beloved sisters, Diane Coons (Terry) of Newton Falls, and Patricia Senek (Sheldon) of Columbus.
Judy was predeceased in death by her parents and her husband, Terrance.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Borowski Memorial Home, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2023.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Paris Township, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local pet rescue, Portage Animal Protective League, in Judith's memory, to P.O. Box 927, Ravenna, OH 44266.
