NILES -- Linda Marie Liddle Colwell, 79, of Niles, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023.
She was born May 17, 1943, in Warren, to the late Ralph E. Liddle and Eloise T. Harvey Liddle.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Gregory Dobay and Ronald Colwell.
Linda was a lifelong resident of Trumbull County, making her home in the Johnston area for most of her life.
Linda was a 1962 graduate of Maplewood High School and a member of the Johnston Federated United Methodist Church and a member of the Methodist Women's Club. She married her husband, David E. Colwell on Aug. 14, 1992. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, watching NASCAR and playing bingo when she was able. She was a kind and loving person who will be missed dearly by those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, David E. Colwell; children, John (Dawn) Dobay of Sebastian, Fla., Mark (Shari) Dobay of Farmdale and Audrey (Dale) Zarbaugh of Austintown; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Joan (Bill) Armstrong of Cortland and James (Sophia) Liddle of Johnston; and several nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes, no services will be held at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Funeral Home, Shafer-Winans Chapel.
