FAIRVIEW, Ore. -- Sherry Kenney Martinez, 66, formerly of Newton Falls, died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at home.
She was born Dec. 6, 1955, in Warren, a daughter of the late Ervin and Mary Etta Kenney, and was raised in Newton Falls.
Sherry was an artistic person. She enjoyed painting, and watching butterflies and rainbows, but what she loved most was spending time with her family.
She leaves daughter, Michelle (Pack Siharath) Sheller; son, Larry D. (Melissa) Sheller; daughter, Heather (David) Nguyen; daughter, Crystle (Tom) Christopher; son, David Sikes; and 10 grandchildren, Trey, Thaiden, Toyya, Zoey, Zayne, Young Zahara, Kaia, Aleena, Aubree and Bjorn. She also leaves brothers and sisters, Linda (Rick) Simko of Newton Falls, Carol (Ron) Selak of Newton Falls, Pam (Bill) Quinn of Oregon, Kim (Gale) Markley of South Carolina, and twin brothers, David (Lorri) Kenney of Newton Falls and Donald (Sharlene) Kenney of Florida.
Private family services will be Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, in Oregon. Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life is planned for Dec. 6, 2022, in Portland, Ore.
