WARREN -- Ruby Walker, 95, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, at the Wickshire of Poland.
She was born Feb. 20, 1927, in Warren, the daughter of James and Christine Coley Tiggett.
Ruby was a bookkeeper for many years and enjoyed cooking, walking and spending time with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Braceville.
Her memories will be remembered and cherished by those she leaves behind: two brothers, James Earl Tiggett Jr. of Warren and Curtis "Alice" Tiggett of Cleveland; and sisters, Vivian Blackshear and Karen Brandon, both of Warren, and Sharon Smith of Newton Falls; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Walker; three brothers, Herman Sr., Monroe and Marvin Sr.; and one sister, Doris Watkins.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at the First Baptist Church, 1300 Cedar St. SW, Braceville, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, at the church. Burial will follow in Braceville Township Cemetery.
