William H. Lackey 1939-2022

He was born June 6, 1939, in Warren, the son of Harvey and Katherine Zell Lackey.

He was a 1957 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. He was employed by the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union No. 33 and retired in 1999 after working at York-Mahoning Mechanical Contractors.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed meeting his friends for coffee at McDonald’s, driving his Corvettes and was a United States Army veteran.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Dolores Chuirazzi Lackey, whom he married Feb. 5, 1966; a son, William M. Lackey of Warren; two daughters, Jennifer (Jamie Moseley) Lackey of Lordstown and Kristen (Brian) Ripple of Lordstown; three grandchildren, Joshua (Paige) Lackey, and Kaili and Kelsey Ripple; and two great-grandchildren, Myles and Lincoln Lackey.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services were private.
