Johnnie Ray Dugger Jr. 1958-2022
AUSTINTOWN — Johnnie Ray Dugger Jr., 63, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022 at Sharon Regional Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 18, 1958, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Johnnie Ray Dugger Sr. and Eloise McClary Dugger Smith; and his grandmother, Beatrice McClary, who helped raise him.
He was employed in maintenance at The Inn at Glenellen. He was a member of the Destiny International Ministries.
Survivors include his wife, Gwendolyn J. Adamson Dugger; children, Darryl Adamson Sr., Menford McCain and Thomas McCain, all of Warren, Jonathan Simms and Cassandra Cobb, both of Columbus, Tyrmaine Dugger and Starr Dugger, both of Syracuse, N.Y., Antonio Dugger of Buford, Ga., Sintrell Dugger and Kwantisha Walker, both of Lawrence, Ga. and Bradley McCain of Palmetto, Ga.; brothers, Alex Dugger of Warren, Tommie Dugger and Ronald Dugger, both of Valrico, Fla. and Gerald Dugger of Riverview, Fla.; sisters, Louise Martin of Valrico, Fla., Priscilla Hills of Pooler, Ga. and Christine Dugger Cox of Greenville, N.C.; 40 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Johnnie was preceded in death by one sister and one grandson.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon, with services at noon Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, at the Monument of Faith C.O.G.I.C. Masks are required. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements were by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
