NILES -- Anna Joan Riley, 66, passed away peacefully at 11:23 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, at the St. Joseph Warren Hospital, following an extended illness.
Anna was born on May 4, 1955, in Warren, the daughter of Leonard R. and Mildred D. Beal Boyd Sr., and lived in Niles all her life.
Anna attended the Niles City Schools and the former Niles First Presbyterian Church. She was employed for more than 15 years, as a floor person with Dinesol Plastics of Niles and retired in 2016. Anna enjoyed playing bingo and especially family activities with her only great-granddaughter.
Anna is survived by her life partner, Ray Lee, with whom she lived; twin sister, Ruby Geddes of Niles; son, Tracy Boyd of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael Riley; son, Brian Boyd; brother, Leonard R. Boyd Jr.; and three sisters, Shirley Boyd, Helen Canann and Beverly Boyd.
Calling hours will be 1 to 2 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, with the Rev. Deborah Dockstader officiating.
Burial will be private in the Niles City Cemetery.
