LORDSTOWN -- Johnny Ray Brown, 42, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021.
Johnny was born Aug. 1, 1979, in Logan, W.Va., the youngest son of the late Zachary and Helen Brown of Lyburn, W.Va.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend, Suzanne Brown; their three children, Sadie, Landon and Lena; his siblings, Rodney (April) Brown of Dingess, W.Va., Angela Miller of Lake, W.Va., Wesley (Tracie) Brown of Ashtabula and Susan (Kenny) Rose of Chapmanville, W.Va.; two special nieces, Elizabeth and Katherine Warner; mother-in-law, Lois Warner; brother-in-law, Andrew (Lori) Warner; sisters-in-law, Sally Warner and Sara Warner and Jonathan Church; along with many other family members and friends.
Johnny was born in a small coal-mining town in Logan, W.Va. He attended Man High School until he moved to Ohio with his family. He graduated from Newton Falls High School.
Johnny was a humble, God-fearing man who was a devoted husband and father. He genuinely cared about others and was always willing to do whatever he could to help anyone in need. If you knew Johnny, then you were a blessed person. He was a family man that loved spending time with his family and doing church activities with his wife and three precious children. He enjoyed hunting.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at New Covenant Baptist Church, Lordstown, with the Rev. Chuck Homa officiating.
Friends and family may call from 10 to 11 a.m. and family from 9 to 10 a.m.
Burial will be in West Newton Falls Cemetery.
