Liza K. DeWitt 1983-2021
YUKON, Okla. — Liza Kathryn Athena DeWitt, 37, the much-loved daughter of Daniel DeWitt and Shelby Medrano, went to heaven on Monday, June 7, 2021. A cause is pending.
Liza was born Nov. 13, 1983, in Warren, Ohio, moved to Oklahoma with family, and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Oklahoma Central University.
She was happiest when camping, cared deeply about the environment and loved animals.
Liza is survived by her parents; her stepfather, John Medrano; brother, Taylor DeWitt; stepsister, Hannah Medrano; grandparents, Ronald and Irene (Renee) McCollum, Janet DeWitt and Kathryn Fisher; special friend, Adam Bentley; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert DeWitt.
Private services were held.
