HOWLAND -- Deborah Lynn Brant, 68, of Howland, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020 at 9:40 a.m. in her home, under the comforting care of hospice.
Mrs. Brant was born on Tuesday, March 4, 1952, in Warren, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary McGarry Noble and was a lifelong area resident.
A 1970 graduate of Howland High School, she furthered her education with a degree in nursing from Aultman College. Her career in nursing involved working as a nurse at the former Warren General Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, the Red Cross and eventually with Hospice of the Valley, from where she retired in 2017.
After retiring, Deborah dedicated her time to cross-stitching, her love of cows, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Brant is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas W. Brant, whom she married on July 1, 1972; her son, Jeff Brant of Howland; six grandchildren; and a half-sister, Virginia McIlwain.
Besides her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her son, Michael Brant.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no calling hours or funeral services and a caring cremation will take place.
