Shirley A. Trebilcock 1939-2018
MARCO ISLAND, FLORIDA — Shirley A. Trebilcock, 79, of Girard, Ohio, and Marco Island, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, at her home on Marco Island, surrounded by her family.
Shirley was born Dec. 25, 1939, in Youngstown, Ohio.
She was a graduate of Liberty High School in 1957. She married her high school sweetheart, Lionel, on August 30, 1958.
Lionel and Shirley started Litco International Inc. in December of 1962. She oversaw the office, customers and suppliers.
She and Lionel raised three children.
Shirley was an avid bowler, tennis player, and lover of cats of any kind, from kittens to lions. Shirley was a member of Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church in Niles, Ohio.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Lionel F. Trebilcock Jr. (Corky); children, Lionel W. Trebilcock (Cindy), Barbara A. Lasher and Ronald R. Trebilcock (Judi); sister, Carol J. Marsh (Michael); grandchildren, Lionel J.A. Trebilcock, Corey L. Trebilcock, Parker K. Lasher, Morgan M. Lasher and Luke L. Trebilcock; and great-grandchildren, Lionel Jax Trebilcock, Bryn Trebilcock and Remi Trebilcock.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, William and Grace VanLynn; and her grandson, Julian T. Lasher.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Pleasant Valley Church, Niles, Ohio, on Friday, Dec. 28th, at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and participate in sharing stories about Shirley. Dress is casual.
