NEGLEY -- Patrick James Post Sr., 55, of Negley, passed away early Saturday morning, June 3, 2017, at his home.
He was born Nov. 3, 1961, in Ashtabula, the son of James and Dorlene Fisher Post.
Patrick was a 1981 graduate of Badger High School. He went to New Castle School of Trades for electrical engineering and graduated with a 4.0 grade-point average. He was a member of the Carpenters Union No. 285, formerly No. 639, of Akron.
In addition to his parents of Farmdale, he is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Thompson; his children, Patrick Post Jr. of Greene, Rachel Post of East Palestine and Jonathan Post of Negley; his grandchildren, Timothy, Jonathan, Jamie, Jacob, Jayden and Annebelle; and his siblings, Connie (Jeff) Tucker of Braceville, Tammy (Bob) Evans of Lisbon, and Elisabeth (Scott) Jewett and Joseph (Amanda) Post, both of Farmdale.
A celebration of life service will be 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 11, at Greene Church of the Nazarene, the corner of state Route 46 and state Route 87, 8916 state Route 46, North Bloomfield, OH 44450. The Rev. James Elkins will be officiating. Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at the church. There will be a dinner in the fellowship hall after the service.
