Margaret Kolovich
NEWTON FALLS – Margaret Kolovich, 79, passed into eternal life on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at St. Joseph Health Center of natural causes.
On Sept. 3, 1934, in Nemacolin, Pa., Harry and Anna Romanik Cybak were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Margaret.
Margaret married the love of her life, Vincent William Kolovich – ”Bill The Barber” – on June 25, 1955, and they enjoyed 44 blessed years of marriage together before he passed away on Jan. 8, 1998.
Margaret had lived all of her adult life in Newton Falls as the owner and operator of Marge’s Beauty Shop, from 1970 until 2004.
Margaret devoted her entire life to all of her children, instilling in them the value of family and family tradition.
She enjoyed oil painting, reading, collecting antiques and cooking for her family. Some of her favorite quotes are, “The most boring word in any language is, ‘I”’ and ”If you don’t do anything else in life, love someone and let someone love you.”
Memories of Margaret will be carried on by her loving family, her daughters and their husbands, Terez (Dale) Montgomery and Kathleen (Dave) Byers, of Newton Falls; her sons, Vincent (Steffanie) Kolovich Jr. of Newton Falls and Michael Kolovich of Newton Falls; her sister, Francis Kolar of Streetsboro; her grandsons, Jacob Byers and Michael Kolovich; her granddaughters, Emily Montgomery, Kelsey Walker and Maggie Kolovich; and twin great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Saylor Walker.
Calling hours will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Funeral services will immediately follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home and at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church in Newton Falls.
Margaret will be laid to rest next to her husband in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
