WARREN – Mary Frances Stephenson, 91, of Warren, passed away Friday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Humility House.
She was born April 21, 1922, in Trimble, a daughter of the late George and Margaret Heibner Vermaaten.
She married Paul Elson Stephenson on Aug. 13, 1944. A graduate of Trimble High School, Mary was a homemaker all her life.
She enjoyed gardening, baking and traveling. She especially loved to collect milkglass with her husband and was a member of the Milkglass Association.
She is survived by her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Elson Stephenson; three sisters, Helen L. Storey, Gertrude Weber and Freda Bock; and her brother, Walter Vermaaten.
Services will be held 5 p.m. Friday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Fr. James Walker will officiate.
Interment will be Saturday in Maplewood Cemetery in Glouster.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary’s name to the Salvation Army, 270 Franklin St. S.E., Warren, OH 44483.
