Lawrence E. Savage 1957-2013

He was born June 18, 1957, in Connellsville, Pa., the son of Ken and Patricia Ruby Savage.

He was a 1975 graduate of Howland High School and a 1981 graduate of Michigan State, where he won a Big Ten Football Championship and was a four-year letter winner. He was employed by Pacer International and enjoyed working in the logistics industry with his colleagues. Larry greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones.

Preceded in death by his mother, Larry is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kathy Fiore Savage; daughter, Kristina Savage Palma; son-in-law, Keith Palma; son, Ryan Savage; future daughter-in-law, Hollie Tedeschi; father, Ken Savage; sister, Cheri (Ronald) Fike; niece, Nicole Fike; nephew, Ronald Fike; father-in-law, Gabriele Fiore; and mother-in-law, Sally Fiore.

His family would like to say that he was a loving husband and father and will be sadly missed by all.

Visitation will take place from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Catholic Church, with a Catholic Mass to follow at 2 p.m.
