Police activity reported Aug.15-23:
Aug. 22, 3:17 a.m. -- Aggravated burglary and assault reported at 1984 Warren Ave. after the resident reported an ex-boyfriend broke in and assaulted her. The man also broke into a garage. Jonathan Dill was arrested on charges of aggravated burglary and assault.
2:56 a.m. -- Telephone harassment reported at 3863 Forest Ridge Court after threatening messages were posted on social media.
Aug. 21, 6:57 p.m. -- Aggravated menacing reported at 80 Barcelona Ave. after a woman mowing a lawn found a bottle in the yard with a threatening message on it written with black marker and also contained a picture of skull and crossbones.
6:11 p.m. -- Attempted suicide reported at 2201 Oakwood St. after a male juvenile was locked in a room possibly with a knife and was suicidal. The juvenile was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
5:32 p.m. -- Felonious assault reported at 111 Youngstown Warren Road after a woman was pushed by a man through a glass window. Man fled scene. Justin Redmond was issued a summons on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, felonious assault and aggravated menacing.
Aug. 20, 10:50 p.m. -- K-9 assistance was requested on VanWye and Benita streets after a possible subject was down from a gunshot. Police searched area.
9:55 p.m. -- Breaking and entering of a detached garage reported at 2596 West Liberty St. A $300 mini bike and $200 bow were missing. The main door was forced open.
7:50 p.m. -- Drug abuse reported at Salt Springs Road and Four Mile Run Road. Giselle Hilton was issued a summons on a chrage of drug paraphernalia.
12:39 p.m. -- Drug abuse reported at McKees Lane and South Main Street. Sean Franks was issued a summons on charges of drug possession and drug abuse.
9:45 a.m -- Criminal damaging reported at 1510 Harding St. after theft of a 2016 Ford Focus from driveway.
5:57 a.m. -- Criminal damage reported at 1458 Blunt St. after a person on an ATV pushed a garbage toter into a mailbox and damaged it. The person on the ATV fled past the school bus garage.
Aug. 19, 6:03 p.m --Possession of drugs reported at U.S. Route 422 and Youll Street. Kevin Baritell was issued a summons on charges of drug paraphernalia and warrant from Liberty police on a probation violation.
3:37 p.m. -- Unresponsive driver reported slumped over at Petro Place parking lot. The coroner was contacted.
1:28 p.m. -- Petty theft and criminal mischief reported at 1708 Warren Ave. after someone damaged a mailbox. The resident reported this is the fourth time this has happened. Mail was found in a wooded area across from the home.
2:08 a.m. -- Drug abuse reported at 59 Youngstown Warren Road. Keon Daniels was issued a summons on charges of marijuana possession and driving under suspension.
Aug. 17, 9:16 p.m. --Vehicle was stopped by police at state Route 169 and Emerson Avenue. Tracey Gearhart was issued a summons on a charge of drug paraphernalia.
8:02 p.m. -- Theft reported at 1310 Heaton Blvd. after a purse containing $100, an identification card and a wallet were stolen from a vehicle after the window was broken.
10:35 a.m. -- Petty theft reported at 1413 Emmet St. after $50 in cash and a semi-automatic pistol were missing.
4:44 a.m. -- Assault and criminal mischief reported at 449 Whispering Pines after an unwanted male and female would not leave. Dishes were found smashed all over kitchen.
Aug. 16, 9:56 p.m -- Theft from a vehicle reported at 1745 W. Park Ave. after $40 cash, food stamp card, and Mineral Ridge Little Rams raffle tickets were taken. The car was left unlocked.
9:40 p.m. -- Theft reported at 1544 Route 169 after someone broke into a storage unit and stole a $250 stove, a $250 refrigerator, four new truck tires and a $2,000 motorcycle.
6:01 p.m.-- Burglary reported at 2896 Carver Niles Road after $8,000 worth of items were missing, including a clothes dryer, 24-inch television, chainsaw, lawn tractor, washing machine and all-terrain vehicle with brush mower.
1:14 p.m. -- Injury investigation reported at 1439 Lincoln Ave. after a man fell from the roof and was found unconscious. The fire department transported the man to the hospital.
12:05 p.m -- Violation of protection order reported at 1930 Coverbrook.
8:36 a.m. -- Criminal mischief and theft reported at 80 Barcelona Ave. after a 2006 Pontiac was found covered with ketchup and derogatory words written with it. Two juveniles were believed responsible.
Aug. 15, 7:35 p.m. -- Overdose reported at 1930 Cloverbrook Drive after a man was found passed out inside a vehicle and taken to the hospital.
3:33 p.m. -- Domestic violence reported at 1930 Cloverbrook Drive after a woman reported a male relative threatened her.

4:18 p.m. -- Illegal dumping in the river and field reported at 165 W. First St. and the caller took photos of the person doing it.

1:10 p.m. -- A neighbor problem over property lines reported at 151 W. Second St.
12:41 p.m. -- A man stole a suitcase full of merchandise from Ollie's Bargain Outlet at the Eastwood Mall.
