MINERAL RIDGE -- William R. "Bob" Lawrence, 94, of Mineral Ridge, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
Bob was born March 28, 1923, in Emlenton, Pa., the son of George S. and Erma G. Ace Lawrence.
Bob served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a long-time member of Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church.
He retired from Carpenters Local 171 in Youngstown.
Bob is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Colbert Lawrence; sister, Norma Jean Robison; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Pat Fairburn and Barbara McArthur; a son, William; and a sister.
Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel, handled the arrangements.
