NILES -- Richard "Rick" E. Novicky Jr., 53, died of cancer Thursday, June 29, 2017, at home.
Rick was born July 1, 1963, in Youngstown, a son to Richard E. and Norma Jean Schoenfelt Novicky Sr.
He was a teacher at several area school districts. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, formerly known as St. James Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Ann Bailey Novicky; his mother, Norma Jean of Hubbard; and his siblings, Jeff Novicky of Hubbard, Chris Novicky of Willoughby Heights, Tim Novicky of Vienna, Mike Novicky of Cuyahoga Falls, Christine Novicky of Vienna, and Natalie Novicky of Warren.
He was preceded in death by his father; and by his stepmother, Darla Novicky.
