Police activity June 1-28:
June 28, 4:41 p.m. -- A custody dispute was reported at 442 McKinley Blvd. after a woman would not let her children leave with their father. One child was needed to be in a festival parade. Police resolved the matter.
7:10 p.m. -- A crash was reported in the post office parking lot, 500 Ohio Ave., after one vehicle struck the back of another vehicle pulling into the parking lot.
7:28 a.m. -- A laptop inside a box was found by the fuel pumps at Shell Gas Station on Ohio Avenue.
June 27, 5:02 p.m. -- Domestic violence was reported at 328 Illinois Ave. A man and woman were taken to Trumbull County Jail.
June 26, 1:34 p.m. -- An assault was reported at 100 E. Marshall Road after man and woman were arguing and reports of people being pushed and punched in the chest. Two juveniles were also fighting.
June 25, 7 p.m. -- Domestic violence was reported at 328 Illinois Ave. after a man and woman were fighting with a young female who was being forced into the back seat of a car. Bruises were found on one person's arms.
June 20, 12 p.m. -- Online scam and theft of an eBay gift card worth $2,500 was reported at 823 Illinois Ave.
June 19, 10;12 p.m. -- A vehicle stopped on East Marshall Road had a crack pipe and push rod used for smoking inside. Priscilla Miller, 36, was charged with OVI and driving under influence. She was taken to the Trumbull County Jail.
June 16, 6:46 p.m. -- Brian Vinion, 60, was stopped on Ohio Avenue and cited for driving under suspension.
June 15, 8:12 p.m. -- An unruly female juvenile was reported at 333 Hayes Ave.
6:25 p.m. -- An animal complaint was reported at 349 Iowa Ave. after a man walking his dog reported another dog attacked his dog.
June 14. 8:05 p.m. -- Police served Jordan Lorraine with a warrant at 439 Illinois Ave. for failure to appear in court. Nicole Nicholson also had a warrant for failure to appear in Girard Municipal Court. Both were taken to the Trumbull County Jail.
June 13, 5:17 p.m. -- Dogs were running loose at the municipal building, 451 Ohio Ave. Owner Michael Kilbourne of McKinley Avenue was cited for dogs running at large.
June 12, 5 a.m. -- Criminal damaging was reported at 510 West Marshall Road after someone broke the windows of a truck parked in driveway.
June 11, 3:07 p.m. -- Criminal damage and mischief were reported at 827 Pennsylvania Ave. after someone broke out widows of a parked vehicle. Nothing was reported missing.
12:17 a.m. -- Police stopped a vehicle on Marshall Road and cited LeVar Jenkins for driving under suspension.
June 10, 12:44 p.m. -- Criminal damage and mischief were reported at 219 W. Seventh St. after windows of a vehicle were broken.
11:14 a.m -- Criminal damaging was reported at 924 Iowa Ave. after a vehicle's windows were broken.
June 7, 1:01 p.m. -- Disorderly conduct was reported at 636 Illinois Ave. after a woman was on speaker phone yelling profanities over a child custody exchange. Police went to the home to speak to the woman.
June 2, 3:43 a.m. -- A disoriented young woman was reported walking around Dollar General, 350 Ohio Ave. Police found the female, who was not wearing much clothing and looked confused and not sure where she was. There was a report of marijuana odor, the report states.
June 1, 1:30 a.m. -- A civil complaint was reported at 832 Indiana Ave. after someone damaged the yard and a pole with a vehicle.

June 27, 11 p.m. -- Theft of keys and other items from a vehicle was reported at 878 Carson Salt Springs.
8:31 a.m. -- Vandalism was reported at 419 Youngstown-Warren Road after someone cut a hole in a fence at A to Z Plumbing.
June 26, 9:23 p.m. -- Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at 1514 DeForest Road after a $5,000 truck was taken from the driveway.
5 p.m. -- Theft of a $25 stereo receiver was reported by a resident at Vista at Ridge on state Route 46.
3:48 p.m. -- A vehicle stopped by police on Salt Springs Road was found with a syringe inside. John Walker Jr. was taken to the Trumbull County Jail and booked on an active warrant. The vehicle was towed.
12:47 p.m. -- Failure to restrain a vicious dog was reported at 3166 Pittsburgh Ave. after two pit bulls were leaving the property and had bitten people. The Trumbull County Dog Warden was contacted after dogs and several puppies were found without food and water. One dog was reported to have killed some kittens.
9:06 a.m. -- Theft of a $1,000 vehicle from a driveway was reported on Salt Springs Road.
June 25, 7:17 p.m. -- A vehicle was stopped by police on state Route 169 and Ashland Avenue. Police said they found $3,782 in cash, as well as crack cocaine and suspected marijuana. Juan Wade Jr. was taken to the Trumbull County Jail and booked on a charge of possession of cocaine and was cited for expired plates. The vehicle was towed.
10:31 a.m. -- Breaking and entering was reported at 795 Carson Salt Springs Road after someone broke into a vehicle parked in driveway and the interior was rummaged through.
4:49 a.m. -- A K-9 assist was provided at Pine Street and DeForest Road, with the dog used to locate people who fled from vehicle after being pursued by Niles police on Warren Avenue to Pine Street and DeForest Road.
June 24, 3:46 p.m. -- Criminal mischief was reported at 1252 Deforest Road after damage was done to a garage door that had pry marks on it from someone trying to break in.
June 23, 9:25 p.m. -- Suspected marijuana was seized from a truck in the 900 block of Salt Springs Road near Kerr Cemetery. Anthony Poe was cited on charges of drug abuse and marijuana.
3:33 p.m. -- Theft by deception was reported at 3946 Deer Trail Ave. after a check for $3,000 was taken to the bank and the customer was told it was scam. The bank destroyed the check.
1 a.m. -- A K-9 assist was requested at 2365 Edgwater Drive after attempts to locate two small infants in Mecca. Police later found that a grandparent had taken the children to his home in Cortland.
