NILES -- Joseph J. Mango, 94, died Monday, July 10, 2017 at Northside Medical Center.
He was born March 19, 1923, in Niles, the son of Thomas J. and Nellie Youll Mango.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. Joseph worked as a heavy equipment operator out of Operating Engineers Hall Local 66.
He is survived by a son, Thomas J. Mango of Fort Myers, Fla.; a daughter, Victoria Lee Mango of Niles; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Camarata Mango; and a brother.
Holloway-Williams Funeral Home in Niles handled the arrangements.
