NILES -- Dorothy C. Whetstone, 87, died Sunday, July 2, 2017, at her residence.
She was born July 6, 1929, in Johnstown, Pa., the daughter of John and Rose Tima Mikula.
She was employed at HK Porter and in housecleaning.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Whetstone, with whom she resided; two sons, William Whetstone Jr. of Niles and Stanley Whetstone of Newton Falls; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, William Whetstone Sr.; one brother; and five sisters.
Arrangements were handled by the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
