Niles City School District
The basic menu is the same for all buildings. There is a daily ham sandwich option available at the Niles Intermediate and Primary schools. Several a la carte items are available daily at Niles Middle and High schools (prices vary). Daily options at those schools include hamburgers, hot dogs, parfaits, uncrustables, and garden or chicken salads.
Lunch prices:
Primary / Intermediate – $2.50 daily
Middle / High – $2.85 daily
Reduced lunch is 40 cents daily or $2 weekly
Breakfast is available in all buildings one half-hour prior to starting time. The cost is $1 for the elementary buildings and $1.25 at the middle and high schools. Reduced breakfast is 30 cents.
Niles Intermediate / Primary schools:
* Fat-free chocolate, fat-free strawberry, fat-free white and low-fat white milk are served daily
* Fresh fruits and vegetables are offered daily
* Daily lunch alternatives include hot dog on whole wheat Mondays, chicken nugget munchable Tuesdays, ham and cheese sandwich Wednesdays, dragon tails w/ bread slice Thursdays, and ham and cheese sandwich Fridays.
TODAY: Hot dog on whole wheat bun, green beans, chilled fruit cocktail, milk
THURSDAY: "Ham Solo" sandwiches, "Dark Side" garden salad, "Vader" veggies, "Jabba Jigglers," milk
FRIDAY: Walking taco, refried beans, corn salsa, chilled peaches, milk
MONDAY: Dragon tails w/ bread slice, green beans, banana, milk
TUESDAY: Sloppy Joe, glazed carrots, orange wedges, milk
MAY 10: BBQ rib sandwich, baked beans, pineapple tidbits, milk
MAY 11: Spaghetti and meatballs, breadstick, side garden salad, chilled pears, milk
MAY 12: Homemade cheese or pepperoni pizza, sweet potato fries, apple slices, milk
High / middle schools:
* 1-percent white, fat-free white and fat-free flavored milk are served daily
* A variety of sandwiches, wraps, specialty salads and yogurt parfaits are available daily
TODAY: Homemade cheese or pepperoni pizza, seasoned corn, chilled peaches, milk
THURSDAY: "Luke's cheezy lightsabers" w/ dipping sauce, "Dark Side" garden salad, "Jabba Jigglers," "Vader" veggies, milk
FRIDAY: Walking taco, Spanish rice, cheesy refried beans, chilled applesauce, milk
MONDAY: Sloppy Joe, steamed broccoli, orange wedges, milk
TUESDAY: BBQ rib sandwich, baked beans, chilled pears, milk
MAY 10: Fiestada pizza w/ Spanish rice, honey-glazed carrots, chilled pineapple, milk
MAY 11: Spaghetti and meatballs, breadstick, side garden salad, chilled peaches, milk
