'Mark Twain' visits McKinley Memorial

NILES -- Mark Twain "Twain By Two" will be 1 p.m. May 6 in the McKinley Memorial auditorium at the National McKinley Birthplace Memorial, 40 N. Main St., Niles.

The event will feature Mark Dawidziak as Mark Twain and Sarah Showman. There also will be a book signing after the program.

The event is free with all ages welcome. For reservations, call 330-652-4273.

Historic home holds open house

WEATHERSFIELD -- The Moss Ancestral House, 1499 Burnett St., Mineral Ridge, will hold a spring open house 1 to 4 pm. Sunday.

The historic home is where the Mineral Ridge Historical Society showcases many of its items.

Niles SCOPE hosts card, bingo party

NILES -- The Niles SCOPE Senior Center, 14 E. State St., will host its annual Card and Bingo Party noon to 4 p.m. May 15 at the center.

The cost per person is $5 and includes lunch as well as prizes and raffles.

Preregistration is required.

McKinley students to showcase artwork

NILES -- Niles McKinley High School will hold its spring art show 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 11 at the school.

In addition to students showcasing their works of art, the high school band also will perform.
