WHAT: Village Council meeting April 19
PRESENT: Brian Fisher, Richard Harvey, Michael O'Brien, Brian Klase and Mayor Glen Puckett

Council:
l Accepted a base bid of $388,455 from Butch and McCree Paving for the resurfacing of several streets south of Marshall Road starting in July. Roads include Parkview, Logan, Annabelle, Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey avenues. Puckett said there also were additional projects approved, including Madison Avenue and a turn-around at end of the road for buses bringing the total to $520,733;
l Gave first reading for renewing the contract of Doug Ross as village solicitor. He has served in the post nine years;
l Announced it is advertising for bids for roof work at the village garage.
