Schedule online for teacher conferences
NILES -- Niles City School District is using online software to schedule parent-teacher conferences.
Visit www.ptcfast.com/schools/Niles_Middle_School_2 to schedule a conference with the school staff.
The online scheduling window is open to Monday.
Conferences are 4:15 to 9:15 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Niles Primary, 4 to 9 p.m. Feb. 16 at Niles Intermediate, 3:30 to 8:30 Feb. 16 at Niles Middle and 3:15 to 8:15 p.m. Feb. 16 at Niles McKinley.

Friendly Squares host square dance
NILES -- The Niles Friendly Squares will host its month square dance 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Niles SCOPE Senior Center, 14 E. State St.
Dress is casual, and there is a $6 donation per person at the door.
The dance will be a high-low dance with alternating tips for new dancers currently taking lessons as well as tips for more experienced dancers.
The theme at this dance is Valentines Day, so participants may wear something red.
