Christmas service planned for Sunday
MINERAL RIDGE -- First Presbyterian Church, 3654 Main St., will host a contemplative Christmas service 5 p.m. Sunday.
The service will include prayer, scripture and music.
Refreshments will be served.
Niles church hosts concert for season
NILES -- Niles First Church of the Nazarene, 1822 Niles Vienna Road, Niles, will host a Christmas concert with Jonathan White 6 p.m. Sunday.
An offering will be taken. The public is welcome to attend.
New Hope youth present live nativity
NILES -- The youth of New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., will present a live nativity 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Refreshments will be served inside the fellowship hall during and after the event.
The church will offer a Christmas Eve service 7 p.m. Dec. 24, followed by a regular worship service 11 a.m. Dec. 25 for Christmas.
The church's New Year's Eve open communion will be held 6 to 7 p.m. Dec. 31. The sanctuary will be open during this hour for personal communion and reflection.

Nativity includes meal and drinks
NILES -- Trinity Lutheran Church, 56 N. Chestnut Ave., will have its live nativity 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The display is open to the public and will include a hot meal and drinks.
