Police activity reported June 3-26:
June 26 -- Officers were dispatched to assist Newton Falls police with a combative subject in mental distress at Budget Lodge. Officers assisted with gaining control of the subject. Braceville EMS assisted with transporting the subject to the hospital for evaluation.
June 26 -- Officers responded to Riverview Golf Course on state Route 82 regarding a harassment call. A subject made multiple unwanted advances on an employee. Officers had to advise the subject to stop.
June 26 -- Officers were dispatched to state Route 534 to assist Braceville EMS with a subject in crisis. The subject complied with orders and accepted transport to the hospital for evaluation.
June 26 -- Officers received a complaint that EcoShield reps were walking through residents' yards and trespassing on Shanks Phalanx Road. Officers made contact with the party and discovered that they did not have any of their licenses, business cards or paperwork on them. They were advised not to solicit in Braceville without proper documentation and to leave the area immediately. The reps were given trespass warnings for the addresses that had called about them.
June 24 -- Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Warren Ravenna Road near state Route 5. The only vehicle involved was a motorcycle that had gone down attempting to avoid an animal in the road. The rider declined EMS treatment.
June 24 -- Officers were called to Wood Lenhart Road for a possible disturbance. The caller stated that they could hear people arguing. Upon arrival, officers checked the area but could not locate the source.
June 18 -- Officers were dispatched to assist with a structure fire at Camp James A. Garfield Reserves Base on state Route 534. A blower motor had gotten hot and emitted smoke, triggering an alarm. Braceville fire responded to the scene.
June 12 -- Officers responded to a residential alarm drop on Allen Smith Road. Officers spoke to the homeowners and determined that the alarm was accidental.
June 11 -- Officers were called to check the welfare of a resident on Kinsman Road. Officers made contact with the resident.
June 11 -- Officers responded to the old Vaughn Elementary School on Braceville Robinson Road. Officers assisted the Trumbull County Building Department with serving a cease and desist order for work that was being done to the building's roof without a permit.
June 11 -- Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash between a garbage truck and a Chrysler sedan at the intersection of state Routes 534 and 5. Both vehicles had disabling damage and required a tow. The driver of the sedan had only a minor apparent injury. Braceville fire responded to the scene, but the driver declined medical treatment.
June 10 -- Officers responded to Eagle Creek Road for a noise complaint. This was part of an ongoing issue between neighbors. Both parties were advised as to how to legally handle their disagreements.
June 9 -- Officers responded to a Jewell North Road address regarding a civil matter. One party was trespassed from the property.
June 8 -- Officers responded to Kale Adams Road to check the welfare of an elderly resident who had not been heard from in a while. Officers made contact with the resident.
June 4 -- Officers responded to an Arhaven Drive address where the resident had been found by the neighbor unconscious and not breathing. The coroner’s office was called to assist.
June 3 -- Officers responded to a residence on state Route 5 to check the welfare of a resident that had not been heard from in a few days. Braceville fire and police made entry to find that the resident had died, apparently of natural causes.

July 14, 12:29 p.m. -- Criminal trespass reported at 49 Hancock St. after a man was trespassing through backyards heading to a nearby gas station.
4:33 a.m. -- Domestic fight reported at 242 E. Broadway Ave. after a man tried to strangle a woman and she used self-defense to protect herself.
July 13, 11:06 p.m. -- Police assisted a resident at 207 E. Kline St, after a woman told police she was being stalked by a man on a bike who made comments to her when he rode by her property,
3:30 a.m. -- Suspicious vehicle reported at East Wilson and South Highland avenues after police found a vehicle parked diagonally across the middle of the road.
July 12, 10:25 p.m. -- Domestic fight reported at 50 Maple Ave. after a resident saw a male neighbor throw a teenager up against a house.
July 9, 9:15 a.m. -- Criminal trespass reported at 420 S. State St. after police found a man trespassing.
July 8, 11:55 a.m. -- Wires and trees reported down at 1026 North Ave. after a semi-truck on the road had taken the wires and part of the tree down.
