Police activity reported April 14-28:

April 28 — A man entered the women’s restroom at the Gulf gas station. The man remained for roughly 15 minutes and became argumentative with Gulf staff when asked to leave. The man has been put on the gas station’s no trespassing list.

April 24 — Identity theft reported by a resident on Braceville Robinson Road. The victim had not lost any money, but wanted to be proactive when she noticed suspicious activity on her banking reports.

April 23 — Officers responded to Swift Park on Benedict Leavittsburg Road regarding a fight in progress between two women. After an investigation, officers arrested one woman and charged her with domestic violence. A subsequent search yielded drug abuse instruments, for which the subject was also charged. Her case was handled in Newton Falls Municipal Court.

April 17 — Officers assisted Braceville Fire Department with a downed wire on Wood-Lenhart Road, and a few hours later with a tree down across Braceville Robinson Road near the Braceville Cemetery.

April 16 — Officers assisted the Braceville Fire Department’s EMS team with an elderly fall victim at Dunkin.

April 14 — Domestic dispute reported on Warren Ravenna Road, where additional Braceville officers responded from their home to assist. The man was transported to St. Joseph Warren Hospital for an evaluation.
