Police activity reported Aug. 1-29:

Aug. 29, 10:43 p.m. -- Medical call reported at 803 Illinois Ave. after a 25-year old man was found unconscious from a possible overdose.

Aug. 27, 5:24 p.m. -- David Ott was cited for driving under suspension and speeding after being stopped by police at Second and Olive streets.

Aug,. 24, 10:35 p.m. -- Menacing reported at 303 W. Marshall Road after a man was sending threatening texts to a juvenile girl.

Aug. 22, 5:32 p.m. -- Nicholas Tadla was cited for driving under suspension and speeding after being stopped by police at Ohio Avenue and Adams Street.

Aug. 21, 6:45 p.m. -- A boy, 6, was running in a ditch area at side of the road at McDonald Avenue and Ninth Street. Police spoke to his parents.

Aug. 18, 2:15 p.m. -- Custody dispute reported at 451 Ohio Ave. after a man came to the police station waiting for transfer of children for visitation but woman did not show up.

1:30 a.m. -- Criminal damaging reported at 200 McDonald Ave. after damage was done to a fence and gate that leads to the water treatment plant.

Aug 16. 5:47 p.m. -- Criminal damaging reported at 550 Ohio Ave. after a nail was found in a tire. The resident told police this was the second time this happened.

Aug. 13, 6:49 p.m. -- Disturbance and physical domestic reported at 824 Ohio Ave, after a man hit a woman.

12:17 p.m. -- Neighbor dispute reported at 421 East Seventh St. after person mowing the lawn hit the side of a neighbor's house with an object.

Aug. 12, 11:54 p.m. -- Assault reported at 303 W. Marshall Road after a woman reported a man threw items all over the kitchen.

Aug. 11, 10:54 p.m. -- Suspicious activity reported at 812 Indiana Ave. after family was concerned of a juvenile girl being continually approached by a boy at Jib Jab Hot Dog Shoppe in Girard.

5:09 p.m. -- Custody dispute reported at 439 Grant Ave.

Aug. 10, 8:45 p.m. -- Disturbance reported at 330 Dakota Ave. after a man and woman were yelling at each other.

7:32 p.m. -- Animal complaint reported at 416 E. Seventh Street after a young German Shepherd was running loose. Police caught the dog.

1:41 p.m. -- Private property accident reported at 100 Ohio Ave.

1:41 a.m. -- Semi truck hit the top of a bridge at the McDonald Steel building, 100 Ohio Ave.

Aug. 9, 10:45 p.m. -- Custody dispute reported at 355 Ohio Ave.

Aug. 8, 2:34 p.m. -- Assault reported at 451 Ohio Ave. after man was threatened and assaulted by another man at a recent festival. A sign was thrown, according to police.

Aug. 4, 6:21 p.m. -- Custody dispute reported at 438 Grant Ave.

3:10 p.m. -- Criminal damaging reported at 1044 Annabelle Ave. after someone drove a vehicle over a lawn, leaving ruts. The same vehicle is believed to have caused ruts in another lawn nearby.

Aug. 1, 1:57 p.m. -- Animal complaint reported at 407 Pennsylvania Ave. after a man walking in the 400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue told police he was bit by a dog on his leg. He showed police the home where the dog came from, and police spoke to the dog's owner and were shown papers that the dog had its shots.
