May 25, 11:04 pm. -- Underage party reported in the 100 block of Cedar Drive.
8:51 p.m. -- Disturbance reported at a business in the 100 block of South High Street.
6:47 p.m. -- Possible burglary in progress reported in the area of Market and Erie streets. The caller said a man and woman were using a ladder to gain entry. Police later learned the woman was trying to get into her apartment after locking herself out. The landlord arrived to let her in.
7:58 a.m. -- A set of keys was found by a pavilion at Willow Park. Officers said it appeared the keys had been there for quite some time.
May 24, 8:30 p.m. -- A family disturbance was reported in the 100 block of Emerson Circle.
6:54 p.m. -- Harassment reported in the 200 block of Fowler Street.
6:14 p.m. -- Domestic disturbance reported in the 200 block of Greenbriar Drive.
12:29 a.m. -- Two horses were reported jaywalking in the 4800 block of state Route 5 and on Louis Boulevard. Two motorists stopped in the road to keep them safe, and officers advised the horses of the danger of jaywalking and violating curfew. Both horses went home without further incident.
May 23, 9:51 p.m. -- A resident in the 300 block of Mecca Street told police her neighbor moved barriers she placed at the property line. Both parties were told to contact a surveyor to resolve the issue.
7:52 p.m. -- Two boys were reported missing after last being seen at Willow Park. Both were later located at a friend's house.
May 22, 6:12 p.m. -- Theft of a medical item reported in the 1200 block of Cortview Drive. The company advised police it was broken and taken to be fixed. The resident did it get back, a police report states.
May 18, 6:46 p.m. -- Unwanted chickens in a backyard reported in the 200 block of Laura Lane. It was determined the chickens live at a home on Beechwood Drive. Officers tried to advise the chickens about trespassing laws and they clucked in disagreement, but did leave the property, a police report states.
6:32 p.m. -- Attempted scam reported in the 100 block of St. Andrews.
May 17, 11:21 a.m. -- Charges were filed in juvenile court for offenses involving underage consumption.
8:46 a.m. -- Sick raccoon reported in the 300 block of South Colonial Drive.
May 16, 4:20 p.m. -- Identity fraud reported in the 100 block of Topaz Trail.
12:24 p.m. -- Single-vehicle crash with injuries reported in the 400 block of South High Street.
May 15, 9:49 a.m. -- Burglary at a business reported in the 500 block of North High Street.
May 14, 10:13 p.m. -- A suspicious man in a red jacket was reported in the 100 block of South Mecca Street. The man told police he was walking home.
9:44 p.m. -- A resident reported two vehicles and a bunch of kids at the playground. The kids were playing basketball.
7:27 p.m. -- A resident in the 200 block of Fox Run reported his dog was bitten by another dog.
May 13, 3:59 p.m. -- Unruly juvenile reported in the 100 block of Colonial Drive.
3:09 p.m. -- A wallet was found in the 300 block of Hillman Drive. It was returned to the owner.
10:17 a.m. -- Suspicious white vehicle reported in the 400 block of Greenbriar Drive. The caller reported a man and two women who were nicely dressed were going door to door. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle or the people.
9:33 a.m. -- A resident in the area of Woodview and South Colonial drives was bitten by a dog.
May 12, 11:50 p.m. -- Domestic disturbance reported in the 100 block of Market Street. A man was arrested and transported to the jail.
11:28 p.m. -- Officers located several vehicles and people at the Eastlake Metro Park sled hill. Officers were told they were kicked out of the gravel lot near McCleary and Main Street because it was closed. All of them were advised the park was closed and were asked to leave.
10:10 p.m. -- Domestic disturbance reported in the 600 block of Wendy Place.
9:10 p.m. -- A suspicious woman was asking residents of Diamond Way if she could use their bathtub. She refused medical treatment, police said. Earlier, she was found on Fowler Street doing the same thing, police said. One resident did allow her to take a bath, police said.
6:34 p.m. -- Disturbance reported in the 100 block of North Mecca Street. Two men were arrested and taken to Trumbull County jail.
3:42 p.m. -- A resident in the 100 block of Carolyn Avenue reported a girl's bicycle on the side of the road across from her house. The caller said the bike did not belong there. The bicycle was picked up by a woman and three children a short time later.
2:19 p.m. -- Burglary in progress reported in the 100 block of Market Street. Police later learned the tenant locked herself out of her apartment.
11:14 a.m. -- Threats reported in the 400 block of East Main Street.
6:34 a.m. -- Unwanted man refusing to leave reported in the 100 block of Market Street.
6:13 a.m. -- Homeless man sleeping on a bench in front of a business reported in the 500 block of Lakeview Drive.
May 11, 11:51 p.m. -- Officers responded to a resident in the 700 block of Lakeview Drive who reported receiving a concerning text message. Officers spoke to the resident, who said that she learned it was a friend trying to scare her after she watched a zombie movie.
6:55 p.m. -- Boy riding a bicycle with pantyhose on his head reported in the 100 block of Grove Drive. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
6:07 p.m. -- A resident in the 100 block of Grove Drive reported that two boys took another grocery cart down to the creek. Officers located the juveniles, who admitted to taking the carts.
10:09 a.m. -- Harassment reported in the 3000 block of Warren Meadville Road.
May 10, 10:28 p.m. -- Man dancing on the side of the road reported in the 100 block of West Main Street. An officer located the man, who said he was walking down the road to a Speedway gas station and denied dancing in the street.
3:49 p.m. -- A white crew cab Chevy or GMC vehicle driving recklessly reported in the 300 block of North Mecca Street. Officers responded to the incident, but did not locate the vehicle.
2:03 p.m. -- Juvenile recklessly riding a dirt bike reported in the 300 block of Greenbriar Drive. Officers did not find the bike or its rider.
12:30 p.m. -- Violation of a protection order reported in the 300 block of Orchard Lane.
May 9, 5:15 p.m. -- A resident in the 200 block of Fox Run reported that their neighbors' dog attacked their own dog. The two owners said that whey would work out the problem on their own.
4:42 p.m. -- Two boys reported to have taken a grocery cart down to the creek bed.
May 8, 12:20 p.m. -- A school resource officer monitored student traffic after the principal recieved complaints of students recklessly driving during the day. The officers did not observe any violations.
May 7,6:42 p.m. -- A resident in the 100 block of Frostwood Drive reported finding her mail strewn across the street.
2:24 p.m. -- Two boys in blue T-shirts reportedly throwing 2-liter drink bottles at a shopper's vehicle in an attempt to damage it in the 400 block of South High Street.
May 6, 11:02 p.m. -- A business in the 100 block of Market Street reported that a known customer left without paying his bill. The patron was located by officers at his residence on Amy Place, and he said he would return to pay his bill the next day.
10:48 p.m. -- Loud party reported in the 200 block of Terre Hill drive. Officers located a small group at a residence, but did not observe any violations.
10:14 p.m. -- Threats by a neighbor reported in the 300 block of Charles Street.
8:49 p.m. -- Traffic stop conducted on a golf cart in the 100 block of Thornhill Drive. Officers issued the driver a warning to his driving habits and for having red and blue lights on a sound bar.
8:36 p.m. -- Boy reported to be recklessly driving a golf cart in the area of Greenbriar Drive and Southdale Boulevard.
3:59 p.m. -- Juvenile recklessly riding a dirt bike reported in the 100 block of Diamond Way. Officers remained stationary in the area for an extended period of time, but did not observe any such activity.
12:11 p.m. -- Driver issued a citation for driving under suspension in the 300 block of Denman Avenue.
1:13 a.m. -- Disturbance reported in the 600 block of Wendy Place. Officers spoke to a man and a woman who were having a loud, verbal disagreement.
May 5, 8:04 p.m. -- Driver given a verbal warning by officers about using a cell phone while driving on West Main Street.
12:09 p.m. -- Burning complaint reported in the area of Niles Cortland Road and Greenbriar Drive.
May 4, 9:01 p.m. -- Suspicious elderly man reported in the area of East Main Street and Maple Avenue. Officers checked the area, but did not locate the man.
12:14 a.m. -- Two gunshots reported in the area of West Main and Bank streets.
May 3, 4:54 p.m. -- Suspicious white SUV reported in the 400 block of Cedar Drive. Officers located the vehicle and determined it was unoccupied and parked legally.
May 2, 12:21 p.m. -- Theft reported in the 200 block of Greenbriar Drive.
11:24 a.m. -- Domestic disturbance reported in the 100 block of South Mecca Street.
May 1, 1:06 p.m. -- Cortland City's service department reported finding damage to a restroom at Pearl Park.
