Police activity reported March 24-April 13:

April 13, 3:01 p.m. -- Suspicious vehicle reported in the area of Old Oak Drive and North Colonial Drive. Officers spoke to the driver, who said he was waiting for another truck hauling furniture to arrive.

11:12 a.m. -- A white dog with a black tail was running loose in the area of Viets Drive and Stahl Avenue.

April 12, 11:48 a.m. -- Officers assisted Bazetta police with an incident in the area of state Route 5 and High Street.

8:57 a.m. -- A suspicious man was reported by several parents who were dropping off children at Lakeview Elementary. The man told officers he was hoping to find the white truck that struck his mailbox that morning. The school resource officer told him about the parents' concerns and he apologized.

7:18 a.m. -- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on state Route 305 near state Route 46.

April 11, 11:21 p.m. -- Officers assisted Cortland EMS personnel in the 300 block of Tessa Place.

2:06 p.m. -- Two juveniles were driving recklessly in the area of Whitetail Run.

April 10, 3:26 p.m. -- A resident in the 100 block of Topaz Drive reported teens on scooters riding up and down the road all day.

1:05 p.m. -- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on state Route 305 near state Route 46.

April 9, 7:05 p.m. -- Reckless red truck reported in the 400 block of South Colonial Drive. Officers were not able to locate it.

5:12 p.m. -- Officers assisted Cortland EMS personnel in the 200 block of Gates Street.

12:27 p.m. -- Crash reported at state Route 305 and Southdale Boulevard.

12:24 a.m. -- Telephone harassment reported in the 1200 block of Cortview Drive.

April 8, 8:26 a.m. -- Officers assisted Bazetta police with an incident in the area of Phillips Rice Road and state Route 305.

3:48 a.m. -- The traffic light at state Routes 46 and 305 was malfunctioning. Officers notified ODOT.

April 7, 1:28 p.m. -- Neighbor problem reported in the 200 block of Gates Street.

April 6, 7:23 p.m. -- Officers assisted Cortland EMS personnel with an emergency in the 500 block of Cedar Drive.

6:06 p.m. -- A juvenile reported another juvenile stole his skateboard at Willow Park. Officers found the skateboard near a trash receptacle and returned it to the victim.

3:05 p.m. -- Two suspicious men reported in the 200 block of West Main Street. Officers discovered they were soliciting without a permit and were advised to stop.

2:02 p.m. -- Officers assisted Cortland EMS personnel in the 100 block of North Mecca Street.

11:46 a.m. -- Theft reported in the 300 block of North Mecca Street.

April 5, 5:22 p.m. -- Officers assisted the fire department with an incident in the 100 block of Diamond Way.

9:26 a.m. -- A reckless Toyota was driving between school buses at the high school. Police are investigating.

April 3, 12:33 p.m. -- An abandoned 911 call was received from a cellphone in the 600 block of Wakefield Drive. Officers determined the call was from a math class and there was no emergency.

April 2, 6:43 p.m. -- Officers assisted Cortland firefighters with an incident at a business in the 100 block of East Main Street.

3:57 a.m. -- Officers assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with an incident on state Route 11 near Wilson Sharpsville Road.

April 1, 10:55 p.m. -- Officers assisted Bazetta police with an incident in the area of state Route 46 and McCleary Jacoby Road.

2:33 p.m. -- An abandoned 911 call was received from a residence in the 300 block of Charles Street. The woman was trying to report a tree had fallen onto the road.

1:44 p.m. -- A tree and wires reported down in the 200 block of Fowler Street.

11:26 a.m. -- A reckless light blue Buick Rendezvous with a young female driver reported in the 500 block of High Street. Officers were unable to locate it.

March 31, 8:03 p.m. -- A resident in the 100 block of Onyx Place reported arriving home to find a blue Chevrolet Cruze in the driveway and three to four teenage boys standing in the yard. The resident asked what they were doing and they said they were wiping off a city sign in the yard. They left when the resident asked them to. Officers were unable to locate them or the car.

12:11 p.m. -- Identity theft reported in the 200 block of Erie Street.

4:56 a.m. -- A dog found at Dunkin was taken to the Bazetta Police Department.

March 30, 7:14 p.m. -- Four teenage boys were riding scooters on the tennis courts and swearing at Willow Park.

7:58 a.m. -- A suspicious man was following a resident at a downtown business. Officers determined it was just a coincidence.

March 29, 10:19 a.m. -- Officers assisted another agency with an investigation in the 100 block of South Mecca Street.

8:41 a.m. -- A truck took down some power lines in the 500 block of Fowler Street.

March 28, 10:33 p.m. -- Officers assisted the fire department in the 500 block of Fowler Street with a structure fire. The cause was determined to be electrical and Ohio Edison was notified.

March 27, 11:07 a.m. -- Officers assisted the fire department with a fire 3400 block of Niles Cortland Road.

March 26, 10:44 a.m. -- Telephone harassment reported at a business in the 600 block of High Street.

12:40 a.m. -- A suspicious man wearing all black reported in the 300 block of North Mecca Street. Officers were unable to locate anyone.

March 25, 10:54 p.m. -- A resident in the 200 block of North Mecca Street reported someone was shining a green laser at the home. Officers found kids playing with a laser pointer at the house across the street.

8:57 p.m. -- Two-vehicle, noninjury crash reported at the intersection of state Route 305 and Niles Cortland Road.

8:05 p.m. -- A resident reported power was out in the 500 block of Tournament Trail and asked someone to bring a flashlight.

5:39 p.m. -- An electrical box was smoking in the 100 block of St. Andrews Street.

4:28 p.m. -- An officer assisted Bazetta police in the area of Beaver Trail and Elm Road with diverting traffic because of a pole and tree on fire.

3:53 p.m. -- A tree was reported across the road in the 500 block of West Main Street.

3:05 p.m. -- Debris reported in the area of Fowler and Delbert streets.

March 24, 8:16 p.m. -- Unruly juvenile reported in the 200 block of Robbies Run.

3:42 p.m. -- Theft reported in the 200 block of Fowler Street.
